I AM ME
In college I took an elective course called Positive Mental Attitude (PMA). It was based on the practices and theories of the late Stephen Covey, Napolean Hill, and Dale Carnegie. At that time, I didn’t understand the importance of PMA. All I knew was that I needed the credit hours.
Today, as a mother of two daughters, I finally get it! It took 20 years, but now I understand the value of having a PMA.
But here is what I learned today at my daughter’s 3rd grade assembly. Having a PMA is an equal opportunity employer. It transcends the generations. I figured this out when the 3rd graders performed this song, What I Am, for all of the parents. Every single one of the 3rd grade classes sings this song during their “down” time.
I encourage all of our readers to listen to the song – What I Am. Play it for yourself. Play it for your children. The message is powerful – no matter your age!
Be who you are, and tell yourself that you are awesome!

I am SO thrilled that this had the same effect on you as it did on me. I believe EVERY word and hope that as these kiddos sing it every day, they too, will believe how strong and powerful they truly are!! Thank you so much for sharing this and I’m so glad that you liked it!!!
